With much excitement, we are announcing the Tuckahoe Little League Challenger
Division Buddy Program for Spring 2022! As you may be aware, Tuckahoe Little
League has a specially designed baseball field within the park called the
Challenger Field. The Challenger Field provides our athletes with special
needs the same opportunities and a safe place to safely learn, showcase, and
develop their skills and love for baseball with their friends and peers at
TLL. To assist our talented Challenger athletes this spring season, we would
love to have a select group of Buddies. Each athlete is fantastically unique,
so your duties will vary but may include:
- Helping to direct athletes to their correct bases.
- Assisting in fielding balls if necessary
- Generally assisting the games and practices stay safe and fun.
All games and practices for our Challenger crew will be held at TLL, and their
schedule is set as follows:
-

Ideally, it would be nice if you could make each practice and game. There may

friends, so consistency is important.
-
Be responsible, kind, patient, encouraging, and practice great
sportsmanship.

Challenger athletes, and share your love of the sport with a fellow peer. Oh,
and you can also earn some volunteer hours. These are just a few of the many,
many perks. If you are interested or have any questions, please email
